UKAS Temperature Calibration
Thermometer accuracy is a critical for ensuring the safety and quality of many products. Whether monitoring temperature at the point of goods in, throughout production, final product storage or during distribution, thermometer calibration is essential.
Certificates
ETI's in-house UKAS calibration laboratory offers certification for both thermometers and probes either individually or as a system. Each UKAS Certificate of Calibration indicates deviations from standards at various temperature check points.
Test Caps & Simulators
Test Caps UKAS Certificate indicates the deviations from standards at specific check points (-18, 0, 3, 70 and 100°C) to an uncertainty of ±0.1°C. Other temperature points available on request. Each Simulator UKAS Certificate indicates the deviations from standards at specific check points (-20, 0, 100, 195 and 500°C) to an uncertainty of ±0.15°C. Other temperature points available on request.
Thermometers & Probes
Thermometers and probes should be calibrated regularly, including when bought new and before being put into use. At ETI, we offer a thermometer and probe recalibration service that ensures you remain compliant at all times.
Data Loggers
ETI also issues UKAS Certificates for data loggers with internal or external probes. Our accredited laboratory can test a wide temperature range (-100°C to 200°C) with a best measurement capability of 0.02°C. For data loggers, certification includes three different temperature points.
